WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? I am located at Hot Rod Betties in Salem, Oregon.

WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?  $100 an hour with a one-hour minimum for customs. Flash is pre-priced. ​

WHAT DOES 'MINIMUM' MEAN?  Even if your tattoo takes less than an hour or is smaller than two inches, you will still have to pay the agreed-upon minimum. In my case, every tattoo that I do will require the client to pay at least $100 on the day of the appointment. This is to help cover the cost of ink, needles, cleaning supplies, etc. The deposit fee will go toward the cost of your tattoo once it reaches above the minimum.

Example A: If you get a one hour custom tattoo and are at minimum, you will have to pay $100 the day of the appointment. 

Example B: If you get a 5-inch tattoo and are above minimum, then the deposit fee will go toward the total cost. $250- $25 deposit fee = $225 due day of the appointment. ​​​

WHAT DAYS/HOURS DO YOU TATTOO? I work Thursday - Monday. I do not typically tattoo on Tuesday or Wednesday, but I can if the client needs it. I can start as early as 9pm or as late as 6pm. 

DO YOU DO CUSTOMS? Enthusiastically yes!! I would be honored to make your tattoo dreams come true. I require a $60 deposit fee that will go toward the total cost of your tattoo in order to design a custom. I need at least 2 weeks between your proposal and the tattoo appointment. DO YOU SEND CUSTOM DESIGNS PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT? No, I do not. I send  basic sketches to make sure we are on the same page, but after I get the okay, I usually don't send any more updates on the design. You will not see it in its final form until the day of the appointment.

WHAT IF I NEED CHANGES TO MY DESIGN? During the sketch phase, I am open to any number of revisions to ensure that we accurately capture your idea. I usually try to have my ideas down a week or so before your appointment. After I start on the actual design, I do not allow revisions. But I can edit little things on the day of the appointment. If you need major changes to the design after I've completed it, that's totally fine. We can keep the same deposit and move the appointment to a later date.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT? Yes, I require a $25 non-refundable deposit for flash and a $60 non-refundable deposit for customs. This goes toward the cost of your overall tattoo. If I need to reschedule you for personal reasons, I will not charge you another deposit fee.

DO YOU DO FREE TOUCH-UPS?  I do! :) Only on Mondays and Thursdays, no weekends for touch-ups. Your tattoo needs to be at least 4 weeks old before we can schedule you for one. The easiest way to schedule this is to send me a message on instagram or through my email (fangteeeth@gmail.com)

HOW MUCH IS FLASH GONNA COST ME? Currently, my flash is pre-priced. There is a fee for adding color and larger sizes. You can see the prices on my instagram or over in my flashbook on this website. 

DO YOU DO MULTIPLE SESSIONS? Yes! If your tattoo requires multiple sessions, I will let you know and discuss payment options with you beforehand. I do NOT charge more than one deposit fee for multiple-session tattoos. 

I, as an artist, will not do sessions longer than 6 hours. 

If you do not feel comfortable or are unable to sit for long periods of time and want things done in multiple sessions, I'm also totally fine with that. I try to let people know how long their tattoo might take beforehand, but it is a difficult thing to predict. 

DO YOU REPEAT DESIGNS? Smaller designs and anything related to a fandom is, for the most part, repeatable! Larger-scale, custom character designs I usually only do once. On my flash sheets there is usually at least one non-repeatable design.
I try to keep my flash updated, so if anything is crossed out or marked otherwise, it isn't repeatable. :( But I am open to doing something similar as a custom. 

DO YOU ALLOW OTHER ARTISTS TO TATTOO YOUR DESIGNS? No, I do not. There is no contract or ticket that can be purchased to override this rule. The only person I permit to tattoo my art is myself. 

DO YOU TATTOO OTHER PEOPLE'S ART IF I HAVE PERMISSION (CKA A 'TATTOO TICKET')? If I feel that I can accurately replicated the art style with my abilities, than yes. This is a case-by-case basis.

WHAT PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT? Cash is king, but I also accept PayPal (friends and family) or Venmo (with purchase turned off). I also can take credit card payments through my phone with a 3% added fee.

WHAT PARTS OF THE BODY ARE YOU ABLE TO TATTOO? It is a case-by-case basis, but the short answer is all parts. It really depends on the design, but I am open to discussing with the client how things would look best. Face, hand, neck, and genital tattoos are the ones I commonly say no to. I am open to doing them only on clients with a lot of ink.

WHAT DO I NEED TO GET A TATTOO? You MUST be 18+ & bring your government-issued ID with you to get tattooed. This is a legal requirement in Oregon and no exceptions will be made.

I require all my clients to be at least 18 years old at the time of their tattoo even if I am working in another state where the law does not require it. 

SHOULD I TIP? Tips are appreciated but never expected! If you prefer to gift, I like coffee, vampire knick-knacks/gothic antiques, Skullpanda dolls, stuff you've drawn or other crafts you've made, or stuff for my kitties. But I would be over the moon excited to receive anything!

CAN I BRING A FRIEND WITH ME TO THE APPOINTMENT? Yes of course! Since my studio is very small, please limit the number of people you bring to just one. If you require more people as a handler/assistant, let me know and I can select special days/times to accommodate. :)

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT? Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Life happens, and I'm totally down to reschedule. I don't typically require another deposit to be paid as long as you communicate with me. Please keep in mind that your deposit is not refundable even if you cancel.

In the event that I need to reschedule your appointment due to sickness/personal reasons, no second deposit needs to be paid.

WHAT IF I AM RUNNING LATE? Please tell me if you're running late. Out of respect for my time, I ask that you not show up more than 30 min late to our appointment. Any later will result in a rescheduling. I'm pretty understanding as long as you communicate. 

Not letting me know and not showing up = no call, no show. I do not allow people to book with me again if they no call, no show. 

WHAT IS THE ATMOSPHERE OF YOUR STUDIO LIKE? I am stationed in a small square room with 6 other artists, although we are not all in at the same time. My station is in front of a window that overlooks the lobby, so we are not the most 'private' of spots but screens can be used if requested.

The back of the studio is also a school so students come in and out with their clients. 

WHERE DO I PARK? There is a bunch of free street parking in front of the building :) There are two spots directly in front of the shop that are three-hour maximum, but the rest of the street is free all day. There's a weed shop next door and if you park kind of in front of that, you're in the free all-day spots. 

FLASH FAQ

- Most designs are repeatable unless crossed out/marked otherwise.

- Large-scale & character designs are usually not repeatable :( But I can do a similar character/pose as a custom.

- If there was a flash design you saw awhile ago but don't see now, feel free to message me about it. It's usually still available; I just stopped advertising it.

- Any flash can be edited or have color added.
